On the first of every month, I will post a contest to win a book. I read multiple genres and the books you can win will reflect an eclectic taste. I will offer books of various genres and from writers who are debut authors and from those who are well known.
As the first book giveaway of the re-launched Coffee with David happens to fall on the first day of a New Year, I couldn't imagine a better book to giveaway than a debut novel!
Attorney Rosebud Donnelly has a case to win. And she never lets anyone see her sweat. But her first meeting with Dan Armstrong doesn't go according to script. No one warned her that the COO of the company she's fighting would be so…manly.
From his storm-colored eyes to his well-worn boots, Dan is an honest-to-goodness cowboy. But is he honest? Her yearning for the Texas tycoon goes against reason, against family loyalty, against everything she thought she believed in. And yet, in Dan's strong arms, Rosebud feels she might be ready to risk everything for one more kiss….
On January 7th, I will post a Coffee with David interview with Sarah.
How do you win a free signed copy of this novel? To enter the contest, simply leave a comment or question on the Coffee with David blog between now (January 1st) and midnight January 31, 2012. Please include your email so I can reach you if you win. The more comments you leave, the greater your chance of winning the contest. If you refer others to Coffee with David who mention your name in their comments, I'll enter your name again in our random number generator along with theirs, also increasing your chances at winning! The winner will be chosen after midnight on Tuesday January 31 and the announcement made on Wednesday, February 1st, when I will post the next contest. Good luck and comment often.
Thanks in advance for your comments, and good luck!
Next week, I will post the beginning of the "Writing the Fight Scene" series of blogs.
Thank you for reading and please visit www.davidalanlucas.com and www.thewriterslens.com. Fiction is the world where the philosopher is the most free in our society to explore the human condition as he chooses.
