But of course, it won't work if you are not a good conversationalist. He's right that a writer reveals more of himself in his fictional pieces. They do incorporate their imagination with what they are or what their past experiences have been. A writer would not come up with a great piece if he hasn't seen a lot.

Alycia WatkinsAlycia Watkinshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09167761920862961885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237343282512778857.post-81174214969121406902012-02-07T18:16:51.854-08:002012-02-07T18:16:51.854-08:00Rick's book Christmas at Long Lake is one of t...Rick's book Christmas at Long Lake is one of the great St. Louis memoirs, right up there with King of the Hill.Catherine Rankovichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03245226041172987336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4237343282512778857.post-50048240898462731472012-02-04T16:12:33.543-08:002012-02-04T16:12:33.543-08:00Enjoyed the interview ... must now add Rick's ...Enjoyed the interview ... must now add Rick's books to my to-read list!T.W.
